This project undertakes a major shift in the way wheeled mobility is conceptualized and understood, from the design of assistive devices to a broad range of interventions that enable individuals to participate in everyday community life.
This is the National Public Web Site on Assistive Technology which offers extensive up-to-date assistive technology (AT) and disability-related resources, including in-depth AT reports, as well as four easy-to-use search features to find assistive technology to meet your needs. AT manufacturers and vendors can register for free to add their products to the assistivetech.net database.
The CCN is a network of people with disabilities, their families and friends. Members of CCN test new prototypes, products and services for people with disabilities in order to improve them through focus groups, field-testing and surveys.
