About this Academy

2007 Academy Attendees

Welcome to the DBTAC: Southeast ADA Center (Southeast DBTAC) 2007 Education Leadership Academy for institutions of higher learning! Throughout the Academy, you will have the opportunity to learn more about accessible information technology (IT) and to develop partnerships with others who share your vision. Our goal is for you to return to your institution as a team and implement policies and procedures that will benefit all people, including those with disabilities, in accessing your campus’ information and instruction.

The Academy will be split into distinctive learning modules for each day. Each module will be taught within an online conferencing room that is fully enabled for two-way text and voice communication, and compatible with current accessibility software. Due to technology requirements, we ask that each participant have access to an Internet connection, a PC computer, a set of speakers or headphones, and (optional) a microphone for discussion.
