Biography:

Ms. Bryant has managed various CATEA education and training projects. From 1991 to 1999, she directed the Information Technology Training (ITT) program, a computer-training program for adults with disability. ITT assisted more than 150 adults in returning to work or pursuing post secondary education. In 1997, she began managing Georgia Tech's Satellite Literacy Program, a statewide live and interactive adult literacy broadcast. To address the changing needs of Georgia's adult literacy programs, Ms. Bryant directed the transition of the Satellite Literacy Program to the Lifelong Learning Network (LLN). LLN's mission was to promote the integration of technology into adult literacy education through the development and implementation of multiple media, staff development courses, and course evaluation. Currently, Ms. Bryant is directing the assistivetech.net project, the national, public Internet site on assistive technology. Her research interests include accessible / universal design in informal learning environments such as museums, zoos, and aquaria and human-computer interface usability, with a particular emphasis on website usability.
