CATEA Universal Web Design Course

Ever wanted to learn more about web accessibility and usability? Beginning March 19, 2007, CATEA will be offering an online webcourse that will allow you to learn more about these topics while earning Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The course begins every Wednesday at 8:00am, but can be completed per your own schedule. Interested parties should register the week before to participate in the following Wednesday’s course. The course is available for a nominal fee of $150 and provides 0.66 CEUs. It assumes an intermediate knowledge of HTML.
The major benefits of this course are its straightforward approach, broad coverage of accessibility issues, and numerous code examples. The course also contains many extra materials such as a glossary of terms, links to helpful web resources and tools, information on utilizing the accessibility features of your browser, Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) tutorials, and a list of references.
